Synthetic populations, real questions

Ask a synthetic population before you ask a real one

Describe the people you care about. Studio builds them, asks your questions, and shows who leans which way, and why.

No card needed. Three guided studies are on us, and the free plan has one population of up to 1,000 people.

How it works

  1. 01Build

Pick a template or a real place, then shape the people.

  2. 02Ask

Up to twelve questions. A coach checks the wording.

  3. 03Read

Who leans which way, by how much, and why.

What's inside

Every plan gets the report. The tag says which plans have the rest.

Templates

Cohorts

Each square is a template of its own. Choose one to meet its people.

What it is good for

  • Pre-testing a policy before announcing it
  • Finding the wording that backfires
  • Seeing which groups to worry about
  • Deciding which questions deserve a real survey
  • Teaching and exploring how opinion forms
  • Building believable worlds for stories and games

What it is not

  • Not a survey. AI answers for invented people. Never present them as real views.
  • Better at contrasts than levels. Which groups lean which way, not exact percentages.
  • Only as informed as you make it. A good briefing makes all the difference.
  • No real people's data. Describe groups with proportions, never records.

One response is one person answering one question.
